Modern Schranz lives on pressure and swing at the same time: a rolling rumble kick, percussion that drives the bar and distorted loops that keep the energy up. This pack follows the new line of the genre, the way Schranz is being produced right now, and gives you every layer of it, from full Schranz loops ready to drop into a track to the separate kick, rumble and percussion parts you need to build your own.

Every Rumble Kick Loop also comes split into its kick and its rumble, so you can keep the groove and shape your own low end. 20 percussion MIDI files let you play the same grooves with your own sounds.

Inspired by the new wave of Schranz and the sound that artists like Kobosil, Klangkuenstler, O.B.I. and SveTec are bringing to the floor right now.

Built for the groove

Start with a Rumble Kick Loop, or layer a Kick Loop and a Rumble Loop to shape your own low end. Add a Driving Groove Loop, or build your own groove from the percussion, hi-hat and rhythm loops. Bring in the energy with the distorted, synth and hook loops, drop a Full Schranz Loop for an instant idea, and use the risers, impacts, downfilters and fills for builds, drops and transitions. Load the one-shots into a drum rack and play the percussion MIDI when you want the groove with your own sound.

The general Tips are useful, but could do with real examples and further follow up techniques. You get a good understanding for what to pay attention to, but in my opinion not enough "how to".The writing feels very practical, which can be appreciated, but leaves space to improve regarding real applications.

On the quantity side: we focus on quality over volume. Every sample in the pack is hand-crafted, mixed and ready to use, not filler. Other packs go for higher count because the production cost per sample is lower. That's a different approach, not a wrong one, just not ours.

Glad you found the quality solid. If you ever want more samples in the same direction, the Schranz Essentials Pack expands on this one with a wider range.
