The sound

Inspired by the hardgroove sound Ben Sims brought to the floor in the mid-90s with his Hardgroove label, and by the artists keeping it alive today, like Mark Broom, Developer, James Ruskin, Regal86, ANNĒ and Truncate, and labels like Hardgroove, Truncate and Modularz.

Hardgroove lives on swing and pressure: percussion that pushes the kick, claps and hats that roll across the bar, and a bassline that locks it all together. This pack gives you every layer of that groove, from full drum loops ready to drop into a track to the single hits you need to build your own.

The bass and synth parts come with 70 MIDI files, so you can keep the groove and swap in your own sound.

Start with a Full Groove Drum Loop for an instant groove, or build your own from the separate kick, hat, perc, clap and ride loops. Layer a bass loop under the kick, add a vocal or texture for character and use the FX for transitions. Load the MIDI into your own synths when you want the same groove with your sound.

Great zou D

The general Tips are useful, but could do with real examples and further follow up techniques. You get a good understanding for what to pay attention to, but in my opinion not enough "how to".The writing feels very practical, which can be appreciated, but leaves space to improve regarding real applications.

One of the best developers for Hard Techno, Techno and Schranz sounds. Go ahead! It was a bit sad though that there wasn't a reduction from the bundle price for customers who already bought some packs before.

Comprehensive overview with recipes that actually work. Well invested time.

On the quantity side: we focus on quality over volume. Every sample in the pack is hand-crafted, mixed and ready to use, not filler. Other packs go for higher count because the production cost per sample is lower. That's a different approach, not a wrong one, just not ours.

There is not much information about this genre on the internet, and if there is, most of the information is outdated or does not translate to the cleanest mix possible.
